{School Horses}
The school owns a few horses which they let any of the students ride throughout the year.[/size]Cricket - Cricket is a ten year old chestnut quarter horse gelding who's very timid. A good choice for new riders, he doesn't spook easily. He's not the best horse for jumps and racing, but he'll do the job. xClick
Macy's Lace - Macy is a seven year old quarter horse mare who can be a bit more of a handful. She's not the smoothest trot but she does Western events quite well, especially barrel races and the like. xClick
Kensington - Kensington is a five year old quarter horse gelding. He's more of an advanced horse and is a good jumper, and does quite well in dressage. xClick
Miss Annie - Annie is a thoroughbred mare who specialises in racing. She's not an easy ride at all, but with a tough rider she can be pretty on top of her game. xClick
Sprite - Sprite is a twelve year old mare, who stands at about 13.3hh. She is one of the best horses for beginners, but can also be used for smaller, more advanced riders. She has a smooth WTC, and can jump about 3' easily. She's best for flat work though, and is extremely forgiving. xClick
Romeo - A high-strung gelding pony, Romeo is about 12.2hh and a tough horse to ride. He likes to have his head and requires a very quiet seat to ride him. Once you get him going though, he's amazing with flat work and is currently being trained for dressage. xClick
Sparrow - Sparrow is a 15 year old gelding. He's a great all-round horse but is very good for dressage. He's just beginning to learn his tempi lead changes, but has a good flying lead change. In this way he is great for both jumping and dressage, though he does tend to over jump by quite a bit. xClick
Singin' the Blues - Blues is one of the few Western horses CPC has. He's most experienced with barrel racing and reining, but has a bit of a temper. It's almost always necessary to wear a crash vest on him. xClick
None of these horses may be bred, and cannot be entered into shows, but may be ridden without permission.
