{Welcome to Crooked Pass} I want to formally welcome everyone to Crooked Pass. =) It's nice to see some new faces I haven't met before, as well as some old ones. I'm Liah, and I'm your admin here, and basically your bus driver as we travel on this crazy journey together.
I respect everyone's opinions, so if you have a suggestion, just PM it to me, or post it here.
Now that all that's laid out, let's get to the other stuff...
OTM Voting is On I know you guys don't know each other super well, but it's for July. If you want to wait until later, that's cool! You get $50 per thing you vote for, so if you vote for all four that's $200.
Statistics We have 10 characters so far - 2 teachers, 8 students. Split evenly girls and boys. I don't care how many characters you have, so long as you can keep 'em active. =)
Ideas I was thinking, for characters who don't want to have horses, should I allow an option to buy cats, dogs, hamsters, etc? I can see it both ways - if I do, it provides more incentive (they wouldn't be too expensive. Maybe 100 for cat, 150 for dog? Or something), and something to work for like the horses. If not, it just allows people the freedom of not having to save up for other pets as well as your horse. Just reply back here with your opinion and I'll probably go by the majority.
Suggestions Anyone have any suggestions they want to make? I want Crooked Pass to be what you guys want, so if you see anything missing that you think would be awesome, just mention it. =) Usually it's always fine with me.
Forum Games I'll be opening up some forum games in a bit once I make the board. If anyone has any ideas, they can for sure post them there. Playing games makes you money. =P

FOR THE FIRST MONTH YOU MAY HAVE A COMPLIMENTARY HORSE. This means it doesn't cost you $500. You must have at least 10 posts before you can post your horse in the money thread though.

I much enjoy the idea of other pets. Maybe even birds. Or reptiles. I don;t know, I just know that no one would ever use a horse. Really. Who would ride a horse to a grocery store?

The age limit is nineteen, but that doesn't stop you from getting someone else to buy them for you. Age for alcohol is 19 too, unlike the States.
As for buying, where and how much... probably just at the convenience store in the plaza, and $5. I'll put that up.

Kay, so I'm going to charge money for animals. I'm thinking of, for a new member who just joined, offering a permanent discount on their first animal (horse, cat, dog). What do you guys think? It'll be null for this month since you can get a horse free (PLEASE TAKE ME UP ON IT IF YOU WANT A HORSE. Just fill out the form and it's basically a horse on us. XD)
so the prices will be above. I'll take the money from mine and Sa Bir's account (both of our characters have pets ME(2 dogs, 1 chinchilla), SA BIR(5 birds)). Just please reply. Also join our contests. 83 If we get at least 4 people entering the advertisement contest (we have three) I'll hand out the full prize money which is $12,000 for FIRST PLACE. What about electronics? Things like cell phones, laptops, desktop computers, etc.? Like, my character is from the US and what would she do for a cell? Or does none of that matter at all? =]

Uh. Well I wasn't planning on making cellphone or email topics, but I can if you think they're necessary. If you're asking about money stuff, then don't worry about. xD You don't need to pay for everything.
