Cadence, Blake, Sasaki
[/center]Name – Cadence Blake Sasaki
If that doesn’t suit your fancy, she’s been called KayKay and Blake
Gender - Girly
Age - Seventeen
Face Claim – Devon Aoki
Occupation - Student
Orientation – Straight when sober
Major – Business
Appearance – Cadence is very basic in appearance. She has never found anything about her to be extremely interesting, but how many girls are really satisfied with their appearances. Light skinned and fairly boney, nothing says unattractive like waking up and looking in the mirror. The signature slant frame of her eyes holds tight to dark brown spheres. A normally pinched mouth is protected by average looking lips in her opinion. High cheek bones are one thing she can brag about. Locks that hold almost every color of brown imaginable frame her round face, at least whenever she bothers to brush it out. However, like most anyone, a little makeup and TLC will bring anyone’s looks up.
Aside from the repairable aspects of herself, Cadence is not the tallest of people. She stands near five-five, holding onto that for two years now. Her legs outgrew her body slightly, giving her a good reason to wear skirts, but horrible balance in the trade. To compliment the small stature, she tries to keep a steady weight at one twenty-seven
Personality – To put it bluntly, it’s hard to tell what Cadence is really like. Like they say, hold them too tight and they will drift further away. Cadence is just like this. She may have lapses and hold true to her lady-like upbringing during the day, but once the lights go low and the music starts, she’s up for anything but. I suppose you can say she has two faces in a way.
Her first face would be Miss Cadence Sasaki, polite young lady who keeps a napkin in her lap and a smile on her face. It’s most common to see her like this. See may seem to be a bit more careful than the average student. Each statement is usually thought over before blurting it out especially around strangers. Arguments are avoid in whatever way possible, as she too weak to do much good if it turns to fists. In all honesty, she’s rather hear someone else talk than be forced to do so herself. To some, she may seem a little stiff in the shoulders. Most of this is an act, a façade taught for family image that has become habit for her.
On the other spectrum, you have Cadence Blake, the chick who has a beer in each hand and shouting obscenities left and right. Of course, everyone has ‘that side’ when they are drunk or at a party. Some get mean, some egotistical, Cadence gets flirty and mouthy. It doesn’t really even take a drink. Simply take this girl out on the town and within a few hours she’ll loosen up enough you might get the cops called. This is the real Cadence and every girl needs to let her hair down once in a while.
History – Cadence was born in Britain, her father had been traveling for business and her mother insisted on seeing Europe. She, being an only child, had it fairly easy the first few years of her life. Tea parties with the nanny, horseback riding, and a room of her own were some of the perks of being an overseas child. Her mother was with her when she could be, but business appearances with her father were important as well. Travel times became longer and business became rough. Thus, at seven, she was asked to live with her grandmother for a while, until things were sorted out anyway. She agreed, thinking it was another fun time waiting.
Grandmama Sasuki was a wonderful lady who stayed in America, but her child rearing skills had grown rusty. She had not grown with the times, but stayed in the early nineteenth century customs. Cadence was required up promptly by seven, no matter the day, and nicely dressed by seven thirty. Daily life was nearly scheduled. Manners and airs were the abiding laws for Grandmama. No longer did she have tea parties and ride for fun. Instead her posture was graded and napkins followed her in her dreams.
Yet, not all was terrible. She had one nanny she was fairly fond of there. A French-American woman who seemed to enjoy her job more than the check, she often taught Cadence her language. They often played when Grandmama went out, this most likely being the reason for her near split personalities. They would throw manner out the window alone, yet straighten up the moment a car pulled to the estate.
It was nearly five years after first coming to live with Grandmama before she got to see her parents for more than a few hours. They had lost quite a bit in a miniature stock crash, but they were slowly rebuilding their business. Cadence, being a child, kept asking if she could help and got the same answer, when you’re older. Like any child, she hated that answer, but lived with it.
She was still living with Grandmama by her fourteenth birthday. Growing bored with school like any teen does, she talked of dropping out with Nanny, as she would never mention it to Grandmama. Nanny was immediately scolding her, something she rarely did, trying to get her to see the mistake of such action. Yet, instead of continual chastisement, Nanny made a deal with her. She asked her to do her best work for the continuation of the school year and she would try to find a place where Cadence would enjoy herself more.
After countless phone-calls and a near perfect school record, Nanny managed to get a few scouts down to speak with Cadence. One in particular stood out. Crooked Pass was her first and last choice.
Since then, she’s tried to stay in the back of class, fairly bored with things still, but unwilling to lose this chance due to that. Even now, she stays fairly quiet, except for the occasional partying habit that Crooked Pass has given her. Who knows, perhaps this will be her year to get out there.
