Keely Boyd
[/center]
Name - Keely Rhoswen Boyd
Gender - Female
Age - Sixteeen
Face Claim - Hayley Williams
Occupation - Student
Orientation - Straight
Major - None - She doesn't go to Crooked Pass
Appearance - A rather short girl, Keely is just as slender as she is short. With little body fat and hardly any muscle, her body is slender and somewhat bony. She looks a bit unhealthy but that's not by choice, more so the lack of available food. Standing at about 5'2'' she is neither intimidating or intensely present.
Her hair is naturally a browny blonde, but she has eternally dyed it to the point that most people don't know her normal hair colour. Usually a bright orangey red, she highlights it often, and sometimes dyes it blonde. Her hair can be easily coloured and she has yet to find a shade that doesn't work well with her skin tone. Her hair touches her shoulders, and she generally has bangs. Naturally pale, her skin is almost ivory in colour. She doesn't tan or burn, mostly staying the same, though her arms do show freckles when she's out in the sun a lot.
Keely has bright blue eyes, similar in shade to the ocean. She wears mostly skinny jeans and a t-shirt, sometimes with band logos. She wouldn't label herself as anything though, and her shoe style can change daily, one day being converse, the other day being ballet flats. It's whatever she has out that day. As of now she has been sporting a long black cape like robe which covers her entire body and drapes onto the floor, with a hood to conceal herself.
Make up for her isn't necessarily a big thing, and she goes fairly minimal. Foundation, cover-up if needed, eyeliner, eyeshadow and lip chap are usually the only things she wears. When she smiles, she has a nice smile but she hasn't smiled in quite a while, unfortunately.
Personality - Keely is very easily spooked and nervous but she hasn't always been so. Naturally outgoing she now tends to keep to herself, barely talking. Most of her communication is through body language and she only talks if necessary. She wants someone to open up to, to protect her but she has horrible trust problems.
Before she was a spunky, creative person who never tired from being with her friends but now she has changed, a change which can easily be seen on her face. Terrified of other people, mostly older men, she shies away easily from other people. She's naturally very smart and if asked she can answer most questions. She's a very good cook if given the chance and also has dyslexia, but she's been able to overcome that.
History - Keely doesn't remember her early childhood well. Growing up in the Bronx, she was the product of a one night stand between her mother and biological father. After her mother found out she was pregnant, she tried to form a lasting relationship with Keely's father. It wasn't meant to be though as he left her just after Keely was born to live a life of drugs and alcohol, which Keely's mother had given up when she found out she was expecting.
Keely lived a rough childhood, being shepherded about as her mother worked two jobs to pay for their small one bedroom apartment. When she turned five her mother began a romantic relationship with another man and by age seven they were married. The marriage was fine for the first little while, and Keely had a step dad, a male influence in her life finally. The man didn't have children of his own and so Keely was his only child.
When Keely turned ten, her entire life turned around. Her step father began to drink heavily, and when her mother was out working he was the one looking after her since he had been laid off his job. He began to take his anger and stress out on Keely in violent and abusive ways, often hitting her and beating her. Her mother did nothing, afraid that the violence would increase on her if she tried to leave. Keely's teacher noticed her odd bruises and called the police, and after a giant court case he was sent to prison.
Everything was fine and once again Keely was happy, though severely damaged emotionally and mentally. She pulled back into herself and refused to talk about what had happened, even with her mother. After five years, he got released on parole for "good behaviour" and though he was not supposed to go near Keely or her mother, he did anyways, kidnapping the girl after school. He held her against her will in a small apartment. She refuses to talk about anything that happened there, but after a week she was able to escape, fleeing the city and taking a bus to wherever she could.
Keely ended up in Redwood after a few cab rides and bus rides and is now stranded with no money, no job, and nobody.
