Tobias Castiglione
[/center]Name - Tobias Oberto Castiglione
Gender - Male
Age - Eighteen
Face Claim - Jim Sturgess
Occupation - Student
Orientation - Bisexual
Major - Equestrian
Appearance - At 5'11', Tobias is a fairly tall boy opposed to the rest of his family. With a rather short family, he stands out as an odd one. He's slender like a string bean, and isn't exactly what you would call muscular. He can hold his own, but he isn't physically strong. His dark brown hair is constantly messy and it looks like he's just rolled out of bed. He wears it fairly long, and lets his bangs grow, but not over his eyes. It frames his rectangular face.
His skin is fairly good for a teenagers - a few pimples here and there but nothing really major. He's got a pale look about him, and his skin is more rosy than olive toned. He's convinced he's adopted amidst his Italian relatives. Toby has warm brown eyes. He keeps his facial hair short, but sometimes does have stubble.
He has a good sense of style and knows what looks good on him. He isn't like some boys who just throw on whatever's clean - he spends time picking out what he should wear each morning. In that sense he's usually wearing some sort of collared shirt and a pair of nice jeans or slacks.
Personality - Tobias is the all around nice guy. He gets along with pretty much everyone, and goes out of his way to say hello to new people. He's funny to a point, and is a bit of a social butterfly. He loves to spend time with his friends but above all likes horses.
Tobias doesn't do well in school at all, and some wonder why he's even here at Crooked Pass. The reason is his skill for riding horses and his natural talent in the area. He can't be bothered to study or force himself to do well because he really just doesn't enjoy school work. He can't concentrate in classes and likes being outside and active. He can be really disruptive if kept in the same place and tends to talk a lot.
He's natural curious to a point of almost being nosy which sometimes bothers people. He isn't trying to pry - he just naturally likes to feel included and know things. He's not the quickest person at putting two and two together but his intentions are all good.
History - On a rainy day in Palermo, Sicily, a small bundle of joy was born. His parents were set off by his pale skin, but loved the boy with a ferocity that only parents can muster. Tobias grew up on a small farm in his town, helping his father tend the fields and sell their crops. He went to a school in the town. Horses were one of the best ways (besides cars) to get around, and so Tobias rode from an early age.
By the time Toby was eight he was riding more often, trying to perfect his techniques so he could better the other boys. He was a natural at this skill, and one of the older boys a few houses down took him in and began to coach him to make his skills better. Tobias developed his skill, and his parents were proud. With mediocre marks in school they were pleased that their son excelled at something. His little sister was born when he was ten - Angelique. With the age difference, there wasn't a lot of jealousy between the two.
Tobias's childhood was relatively happy, and at age fourteen he was offered a place at Crooked Pass after performing in a show. He accepted the offer and with a bursary travelled from Sicily to Canada. He has lived in Canada for four years now, only having gone home every so often to see his parents. His parents are in the process of trying to ship over his horse so that he may use it for classes. He speaks Sicilian - which sounds quite a lot like Italian.
