Crooked Pass Collegiate is a private equestrian boarding school set in the prairies of Canada. It's students hail from all over the globe, most of them hand picked by the school themselves. Each student is quite smart, and CPC has hopes that they will fulfil their potential when they graduate. Besides being a boarding school, Crooked Pass Collegiate is also a school of equestrian. Each student is required to take mandatory riding lessons as part of their schooling. Along with this though there are problems of identity, friends, cliques, gossip and all other aspects of teenage life... <3

{About Crooked Pass}
Crooked Pass is a boarding school/town based roleplay situated in Crowsnest Pass, Alberta. A unique part of Crooked Pass is the added equestrian side to it that many other boarding schools don't have. It allows students to take responsibility of something other than themselves, and learn a skill. In Crowsnest Pass, the town is so small that horses are one of the best ways to get around in the first place.
Crooked Pass is rated PG13-18A, mainly because it's a site based around teenagers, so there will be mature things. You must be able to post a solid paragraph every time you post, and as of yet there is no post count. Crooked Pass has a money system which can be used to buy things in the game, and many spots open for staff.
F.requently A.sked Q.uestions
Do I have to roleplay a teacher or a student? Nope! If you want to roleplay someone just living in the town, that's cool too. I would recommend a student though because it gives you many more ways to interact with other characters.
No posting limit? You guys must suck. Actually, the reason we don't have a posting limit is so that more inexperienced members can join and develop their skills as writers. I don't like being exclusive. If you have a big problem with it, just don't choose to roleplay with them, or offer classes and ways to lengthen your posts.
Can I be a mod/admin? It depends if we're looking for staff and if we'd like you on our staff team. We don't just hand out powers just because people want them.
Can I use your code/graphics? Much of the code used (at least for the side boxes) can be found on many proboards coding sites. As for our graphics, no, they're ours. Sorry!
I don't know anything about Canada, because I'm American. That's alright! We've got a special post about living in Canada, and it's actually not that much different, besides the free health care. Living in Canada.
Can you make me graphics? Uh, for members, probably, for guest... not so much. Usually we'll have open slots at our graphics section.
I have this awesome idea, who do I tell?! Tell us! We have a board for it and if you want to keep it hush hush, just send one of the admin's an email. We're usually online quite a bit.
