Crooked Pass Collegiate is a private boarding school set in the prairies of Canada. It's students hail from all over the globe, most of them hand picked by the school themselves. Each student is quite smart, and CPC has hopes that they will fulfil their potential when they graduate. Besides being a boarding school, Crooked Pass Collegiate is also a school of equestrian. Each student is required to take mandatory riding lessons as part of their schooling. The school holds its own shows and events for the students to participate in, as well as providing a means to get to ones out of town.[/size]
The school is comprised of a central campus with four dorm buildings around it. Out beyond the main facility area the stables - four buildings made to hold both the school's and the student's horses. The school owns over 600 acres of land, spanning across the base of Turtle Mountain. Curriculum is based around the student's skills, thought each student is required to take mandatory courses. Students are required to take equestrian classes as that will broaden their knowledge.
Each faculty has a head, along with teachers who are responsible for classes of different grades. There is no age limit at Crooked Pass, with students starting sometimes as young as thirteen. The school's colours are white, purple and green and their mascot is the Great Horned Owl.
Crowsnest Pass, the town in which Crooked Pass is situated is a small town, but with the addition of the school the population has been booming. Still relatively small though, it's quite quaint, and many people enjoy the town. It's based quite a lot around horses, as they're one of the easiest modes of transportation. The crime rate is rather low, due to the strict policy on guns, and health care is paid with taxes.
