Crooked Pass Collegiate is a private equestrian boarding school set in the prairies of Canada. It's students hail from all over the globe, most of them hand picked by the school themselves. Each student is quite smart, and CPC has hopes that they will fulfil their potential when they graduate. Besides being a boarding school, Crooked Pass Collegiate is also a school of equestrian. Each student is required to take mandatory riding lessons as part of their schooling. Along with this though there are problems of identity, friends, cliques, gossip and all other aspects of teenage life... <3

{Our Current Plot}
School year always brings about the idea of the flu circulating, but recently the hype is worse. After the pandemic of Swine Flu in Mexico and the States, Canada is almost in a state of panic about the H1N1 flu. Though it isn't as bad as people expected it to be, it is still running rampage around the world, the worst being with people in close quarters.
One of the age groups at risk, of course, is those 13-25, perhaps because of the nature of this age. At CPC the staff has done everything to prevent an outbreak - hand sanitizer, clinics on keeping yourself healthy, but prevention is not a cure.
Swine Flu, or H1N1 has arrived at CPC, bringing with it a new mutation of the virus. This mutation makes the virus even more deadly and as of yet scientists haven't pinpointed the source of the mutation.
Symptoms are quite similar to that of a common cold and so most of the time it is ignored until too late. A dry cough, fever and swollen lymph nodes. Within two days of infection, symptoms take a turn though, causing nausea, vomiting, dizziness, fainting. As the disease progresses the lymph nodes get more swollen. From there it only gets worse...
The even scarier problem is the way it's affecting animals, especially horses. Dogs are not immune either, and it seems the only animals that can escape the mutated virus are cats. Will you catch the flu, or will you stay healthy?
